The customer is informed by means of this privacy policy how the Hotel Ambassador, Restaurant des Cheminots

(hereinafter referred to as AMBASSADOR) handles the collection, use, disclosure, storage and protection of the customer’s personal data. This data protection declaration applies to the ambassador-brig.ch website.

By using the website the customer accepts this privacy policy and agrees to the collection, storage, processing, use, disclosure and protection of his personal data. The customer can revoke his consent at any time with effect for the future.

If the customer does not provide the Hotel AMBASSADOR with the necessary data, it may be that he cannot use the entire offer of the website.

The collection and processing of personal data helps Hotel AMBASSADOR to improve and optimise its website.

a. WHEN visiting ambassador-brig.ch the customer visits the website, the following general technical visit information is collected in so-called log files:

– Information on the operating system used
– Reference/Exit Pages
– Time and duration of the visit

The customer can send an offer request to Hotel AMBASSADOR via web form, register for the Business Circle or request further information from Hotel AMBASSADOR. The following information is required for this purpose:

– First name and surname
– firm
– telephone number
– email address
– password

c. USE OF ANALYSIS TOOLS

On its website, Hotel AMBASSADOR uses analysis tools to collect data on the customer’s interaction with the website, on links that the customer clicks on and on other actions that the customer uses as part of Hotel AMBASSADOR’s services. Further information on the use of the aforementioned technology by Hotel AMBASSADOR and how it is used can be found under point 7 of this data protection declaration.

d. NEWSLETTER

The customer can subscribe to a newsletter from Hotel AMBASSADOR. They must provide their e-mail address. The newsletter can be cancelled at any time; the relevant information can be found in the newsletter itself. If the customer unsubscribes from the newsletter, the associated e-mail address will also be deleted.

e. CONSENT

By providing mandatory and possibly further voluntary data, the customer consents to the collection, processing, use and disclosure of such data within the scope of the purposes described in this data protection declaration.

4. TRANSFER OF DATA TO THIRD PARTIES

The passing on of data to third parties takes place as far as this is necessary for the execution of the contract. Hotel AMBASSADOR does not trade or sell customer data.

We only pass on the information we receive to third parties to the extent described below:

– Protection of Hotel AMBASSADOR and third parties: Hotel AMBASSADOR discloses customer accounts and personal data about customers if it is legally obliged to do so or if such disclosure is necessary in order to enforce Hotel AMBASSADOR’s General Terms and Conditions or other agreements or to protect its rights as well as the rights of its customers and those of third parties. – With the consent of the customer: In all other cases we will inform the customer if personal information is to be passed on to third parties and the customer will thus be given the opportunity to give his consent.

5. DURATION OF THE STORAGE OF PERSONAL DATA AND ITS DELETION

Customer data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the fulfilment of the purpose for which it was collected, e.g. within the framework of a contractual relationship. If necessary, the data will only be blocked if it cannot be deleted for legal or factual reasons (e.g. storage obligations due to tax law requirements).

The data collected from customers pursuant to Clause 3 lit. b shall remain stored until the customer enquiry has been processed or the customer has logged off from the Business Circle.

Hotel AMBASSADOR protects the data of your customers through technical and organizational security measures to minimize risks in connection with their loss, misuse, unauthorized access and unauthorized disclosure and alteration. For this purpose, firewalls and data encryption, for example, but also authorization controls for data access are used.

7. ANALYSIS TOOLS

Hotel AMBASSADOR uses so-called tracking technologies to continuously improve and optimize its website. These include in particular Google Analytics and similar programs. The analysis tools provide statistics and graphics that provide information about the use of the website. The data on the use of an Internet page is transferred to the server used for this purpose. This website uses eDialog, an open source web analysis tool developed by Plus130 AG in Zurich, Switzerland, to collect and store data for marketing and optimization purposes. The data can be used to create pseudonymised user profiles. Randomly selected individual visits (only with anonymous IP addresses) are recorded. This creates a protocol of mouse movements and clicks with the intention of randomly playing back individual website visits and deriving potential improvements for the website. The data collected with eDialog will not be used to personally identify the visitor to this website and will not be merged with personal data about the bearer of the pseudonym without the separate consent of the person concerned. If you do not wish a recording to be made, you can report a recording to us on all websites that use eDialog.

c. REVOCATION OF CONSENT

The customer may revoke his consent to the collection, processing, use and disclosure of his personal data at any time in accordance with this data protection declaration. However, Hotel AMBASSADOR may no longer be able to provide the customer with full access to mulit-concpet.ch and the services offered on this website.

9. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY STATEMENT

Hotel AMBASSADOR is entitled to change this privacy policy at any time. The amended privacy policy will be published on the website and the customer is advised to consult it from time to time to keep up to date. Hotel AMBASSADOR reserves the right to inform the customer by e-mail in the event of significant changes to the data protection declaration.
